Activator Technique – An appliance that is used by the doctor to deliver a low force adjustment to correct a subluxation of any joint. In this office this technique is used on infants or babies, joints of the hands and feet, osteoporosis and TMJ.
Acupuncture or Meridian Therapy
Electrical Meridian Therapy – The stimulation of an acupuncture point or meridian that boosts the bodies power to heal itself. This technique is a pain-free noninvasive alternative approach to needle acupuncture. It is respected as being more accurate, more effective and faster than using the needle.
Electrical Meridian Imaging – This technique is highly supported by the world leaders of acupuncture. This evaluation of all acupuncture meridians provides a visual display and allows the patient and the doctor to see the current state of the meridian. This allows more precise treatment of the patient no matter what there condition promoting comprehensive, faster and more effective results.
Teishien – This technique was brought to the United States from Japan in 1971. It utilizes a spring cushioned blunt ended device to stimulate an acupuncture point for hypersensitive patients. The benefits of this technique include a noninvasive technique, minimal stimulation of the skin and can provide easy access to most acupuncture points. This helps decrease the amount of treatment time and can provide immediate symptomatic relief in many cases.
Auriculotherapy (electrical) – A form of electrical acupuncture that treats acupuncture points located on many landmarks of the ear. This technique is highly effective, non-invasive and patient friendly. The stimulation of the points is mild and performed with a hand held unit that delivers micro-current to the point.
Certified Acupuncturist – Acupuncture a popular method for treating illness and injury that has been used successfully for over 5000 years. It is a Chinese system of natural healing (no drugs …No surgery), which is concerned with restoring proper energy flow to the various organs, glands and tissues of the body on the premise that most diseases are the result of malfunction due to disrupted energies.
The Chinese definition of health is – the harmony or balance in the transmission of energy flow through the body (called Ch’i), prevents organ malfunction, disease, pain and suffering.
